Sylvia Tumueirwe Alinaitwe (Ms)
Board Member

Sylvia Tumuheire is the deputy Managing Director, Finance and Corporate Strategy at National Water and Sewerage Corporation where she has served for 24 years. She is a Chartered Accountant and holding Masters of Business Administration from Maastricht School of Management, the Netherlands, specialising in Corporate Strategy and Economic Policy. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance from Makerere University-Uganda and a Bachelor of Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes – UK. She is a fellow of Chartered Certified Accountants – UK and a member of Certified Public Accountant of Uganda. She has a wide experience in Finance and Accountant as well as a Institutional Management. She has undertaken a number of assignments locally and abroad as expert in Finance and Institutional Reforms; Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Zambia, S.A among others.

Kyampeire Gloria Muriisa
Board Member

Kyampeire Gloria Muriisa has over 10years professional experience in Communications & Marketing, and 5years experience in Finance and Accounting. Gloria has worked with government institutions at Uganda Industrial Research Institute as Public Relations Officer, and Imperial Group of Hotels in Finance department as an accountant. She is a board member of Nyaka Aids Foundation and the Founder of Kanungu Galz Network. She has proven skills in general management, planning and controlling of resources, excellent customer care, marketing, interpersonal, supervisory and organisational attributes with good communication skills. Gloria is competent in networking, and capacity building.

A holder of BA (Social Sciences) Makerere University, Diploma in Export Marketing and Agribusiness from Galilee International Management Institute Israel, Diploma in Public Relations at Uganda Management Training Centre among others.

Keen Twesigye
Board Member

Keen Twesigye is presently the managing Partner at Twesigye, Oyuko & Co Advocates; a legal firm in Kampala, with experience spanning over 20 years of direct engagement in matters of law as an advocate of the courts of Judicature of Uganda, and previously as an employee in Quasi Government Agencies and also as a lawyer in private entities and NGO’s. She has wide experience in the transport sector. She is also widely involved in charitable activities through the Rotary and other organisations. She sits on various board both in Public and Private sector. She holds maters of Laws (LLB.hons) from Makerere University and Post Graduate Diploma(PGD) in legal practice from the Law Development Centre(LDC) Kampala. She has gone wide training in corporate governance.

Dr. Peter K. Turyakira
Board Members

Dr Peter K. Turyakira is born in Rugyeyo Sub-county, Kanungu District. He is a Senior Lecturer and Head, Department of Marketing and Management School of Business, College of Business and Management Sciences (CoBAMS), Makerere University. He has been lecturing since 2001 in the fields of marketing and business management. Peter holds a PhD (Business Management) from Nelson Mandela University (NMMU), South Africa: Masters of Business Administration (MBA Marketing) from Makerere University and BSc. Hotel Management Degree from International School of Hospitality Management, The Netherlands.

Peter has extensively researched and consulted in the broader area of Marketing and Management. He has published a number of Articles in internationally accredited journals and gas presented several papers locally and internationally. His focus areas for Research & training include: Marketing & Management, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Business Ethics: General Management, Leadership and Organisational Behaviour, Entrepreneurship, Tourism and Hospitality Services Management. Peter has worked on consultancies on national and international projects including DFID where he jointly conducted research with Professors from University of Strathclyde- Scotland on “Strengthening the Competiveness of Tourism and Hospitality Enterprise and Education(SCOTHEE)”. Peter is an expert and consultancies in Business Management and believes in giving back to the community.

Johnson Masiko Wise
Board Member

Johson Masiko Wise has over 20 years of experience in leadership and management of large, complex HIV/AIDS health programs in Uganda, mainly funded by USAID. He has Cutting-edge experience in program design and management, Resource mobilisation, grant management, Partnership building and networking, Institutional building and systems strengthening. He also possesses finance and human resource management and M&E. He has also worked in in different sectors including the Faith based sector, The private sector and worked closely with the public sector. He has served on various national committees including UAC partnership committees, the Country Coordinating Mechanism for Global Fund, Johnson Civil Society Fund, NGO and School Boards Hold a Master’s Degree in Social Sector Planning and Management of MUK, Master of Management Studies from UMI, Bachelors Degree of MUK among others.
